A quiet house, on purpose.
We opened Casa Albera in 2019, with twelve suites set into the pine forest outside Comporta and the beach five minutes away. We built it for the kind of stay we wanted ourselves: quiet, carefully made and close to the sea.
Our guests come mostly from the UK, Germany and the US, and mostly in twos. They come for the design and the stillness, and they tend to stay long enough to slow down.
The quietest, most beautiful week we’ve had in years.
The season
The house is open from March to November. Spring brings the rice fields into green, late summer is long and warm, and autumn on this coast is golden and still.
